Clinic Providers: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant: Full-time Roosevelt Medical Center is a small facility is looking for an NP or PA with an interest in caring for patients in our rural health clinic, a 25-bed critical access hospital with long-term care, and a 24-hour ER. We do not provide surgical or obstetrical services. This is a great opportunity for the mid-level provider who likes autonomy and the chance to maximize his/her skills and knowledge in primary care. This job is also for the mid-level provider who wants to develop long-term relationships with patients and provide care for an individual across the continuum from infancy through old age. For these services, we will pay a competitive salary with benefits. The mid-level provider will work with the Physician and other Physician’s Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioners. Providers see between 10 and 20 patients per day in the Rural Health Clinic. The average daily CAH inpatient census is 1. Long term care census is 23-24. The emergency room visits average 40-50 per month, so while on call, providers are not onsite but must be available to respond within 30 minutes. The mid-level provider interacts with facility quality activities. Full-service lab with blood banking and some bacteriology. Radiology services include basic x-ray and Toshiba CT with off-site radiologist over-read. RMC is a State-designated trauma receiving facility. This position could be right for a mid-level provider wanting to maintain full-time practice but at a slower and much more personal pace. Clinical Laboratory Scientist: Full-time day shift with shared night/weekend/holiday call. Must have a current Montana License or be able to obtain one. Must be proficient in all areas of the laboratory including Blood Banking and Microbiology. We offer a positive, team-oriented workplace where your contributions are valued and make a real impact. Starting wage DOE.
Radiology Technologist: Part-time/PRN position available for Radiology Technician for X-Ray and CT to perform and process quality x-rays and CT scans; participate in quality improvement projects as identified; perform preventive maintenance, observe radiation monitoring process, operate machines accurately, carefully. Qualifications: Must hold a Radiology Technician License for the State of Montana, ARRT certification. Maintain 6 hours continuing education per year. Good verbal and written communication skills; good working knowledge of anatomy; acute manual dexterity and hand eye coordination required. Job requires ability to perform heavy lifting and withstand prolonged standing and walking. Be familiar with computer word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic medical record applications. Experience in CT preferred, willing to train. New graduates and limited licenses encouraged to apply. Major functions of this position include maintaining communication with Department Manager about equipment needs; work with Business Office in a timely manner on Compliance activities; code all procedures correctly for Business Office; greet patients and families prior to testing, inform them of procedures to be administered; properly identify patient; perform x-rays and CT scans by strictly adhering to policy and procedures; follow quality control and maintenance procedures and accurately maintain electronic logbooks; maintain timely, accurate documentation as required by all agencies; notify CEO/HR if department policies and procedures need to be created or updated; complete preventive maintenance, participate in annual inspections, maintain department organization and cleanliness, QA for equipment, dosimetry monitoring as required; participate in on-call schedule; respond to callbacks within 30 minutes of being notified; observe all facility policies and procedures including infection control, biohazards, safety, security, confidentiality, and corporate compliance; office duties include prior authorization and coordination of services including mobile MRI, mobile Mammography and Ultrasound imaging; maintain professional, open line of communication on an ongoing basis with all medical providers and co-workers; and approach patients with positive and friendly attitudes.
Nurses: Long Term Care/ Critical Access Hospital RN’s or LPN’s needed in Culbertson with sign on bonus $2,500 for full-time. Days (6a-6:30p or 6a-7p) and/or night shift (6 p.m.- 6:30 a.m.). Duties will include: supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures and to assess residents’/patients’ care needs and take appropriate action to ensure that the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times.
Certified Nursing Assistants: Full-time or part-time, days or nights. MUST BE RELIABLE, COMPASSIONATE, AND DEPENDABLE. Usual shift is 12.5 hours, but willing to look at other alternatives. Starting certified wage is $19.46 per hour, depending on experience.
